As a post-Soviet country, the Kyrgyz Republic is in search of its own niches in the world market. In natural terms, the Republic is a mountainous country in Central Asia that has no access to the sea. Wild animals are an integral part of the mountain ecosystem of the Kyrgyz Republic. With the transition to a market economy, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, based on the use of many of these wild animals, such segments of inbound tourism as trophy hunting, ecotourism, cultural tourism based on nomadic traditions using hunting predatory birds began to develop. Also wild animals are used by the local population in domestic tourism. The article deals with the legal aspects of the use of wild animals of Kyrgyzstan in tourism and analyzes in more detail the economic aspects of using wild animals in hunting tourism.
