Spatial Analysis of the Availability of Pre-School Educational Institutions in the Voronezh Region

The purpose is a spatial assessment and territorial differentiation of the availability of places for children in pre-school educational institutions in Voronezh region based on the analysis of statistical data. Materials and methods. The data of the Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation and the Voronezh region served as the materials for the study. Based on the results of the analysis of statistical data, the grouping of the availability of places for children in preschool educational organizations of the Voronezh region was carried out. Results and discussion. The spatial analysis of the Voronezh region area in terms of its municipal formations suggests territorial differentiation of the region's subjects by the level of provision of preschool age children with places in preschool educational organizations. Three groups of municipalities according to the level of provision and their cartographic visualization are distinguished. Conclusions. Promising measures for the development of the pre-school education network have been formulated: the construction of new kindergartens, the possibility of additional funding for rural educational institutions, the development on the basis of pre-school educational organizations of consultation centres on various issues of child rearing, education and development, promising models of pre-school education, including bilingualism, orientation towards inclusion, expansion of child independence and betting on the game.
