Abstract

The purpose is to determine the dynamics and geography of inbound tourism flows to the "Divnogorie" museum-reserve by region of visitors' residence. Materials and methods. Statistical data of the "Divnogorye" museum-reserve were used as the information base. Daily observations were carried out in August 2021 from 12:00 to 16:00: number plate numbers of the regions of the cars parked in the museum-reserve were registered. The data obtained were compiled into a spreadsheet for their quantitative, qualitative and graphical (diagrams and a map-scheme were made based on the results) analysis. The author's methodology was developed for the study, and NextGIS QGIS was used to compile the cartographic material. Results and discussion. Since 2016 the tourist flow to the "Divnogorie" museum-reserve has been constantly increasing. However, the number of visitors is unevenly distributed throughout the year. The main tourist season is observed from May 1 to November 10. The days with the highest attendance are Saturday and Sunday. A decline in attendance was observed on Mondays and Tuesdays, which are museum weekends. The largest number of visitors coming to Divnogorie is from Voronezh region (43 % from the regions from which more than 20 cars arrived). Central Black Earth region, Moscow region, Moscow and St. Petersburg are also in the top five "leaders" in attendance. A large number of cars came from the European part of Russia. There were a few cars from Siberia and the Far East. The exception is Primorsky Krai, which may be due to the peculiarities of car sales, transportation and registration. Conclusions. Due to the dynamically increasing tourist flow to the "Divnogorie" museum-reserve, urgent measures are needed to develop a series of optimizing measures related to the calculation of recreational loads on natural-territorial complexes, tourist and recreational zoning of the territory, as well as the organization of regular landscape-environmental monitoring.
