Abstract

The purpose is to consider the concept of development of Altai tourist route networks within the framework of the modular approach of their construction. Materials and methods. In this article, the object of the study is the Altai Mountains. The special software necessary for realization of the research and solution of applied problems of route construction is considered: one of the popular tour- ist routes of the Altai Republic (the vicinity of Mount Belukha) is studied; the possibility of building a tourist route using computer modeling has been analyzed; the degree of accessibility of the studied route has been determined by dividing the route into component parts; the possibility of scaling the modular approach for building new tourist routes has been revealed; the prospects of creating a computer model of the network of routes in Altai for their further use as an applied toolkit in the design and creation of tourist routes have been assessed. The definition of the concept of "tourist route module" as an integral component of the creation of routes and their networks is introduced and disclosed. Results and Discussion. The possibility of scaling the modular approach of building tourist routes on several travel areas has been demonstrated, and the prospects and possibilities of using this approach for modeling, designing and creat- ing tourist routes of different difficulty, duration and length have been evaluated. Conclusions. The considered software tools allow to make area estimation, to introduce three-dimensional panoramas of objects by special software products, as well as to make video shooting of the areas of interest in three-dimensional perspective and dynamics. This, in the long term, will help tourism organisers to plan trips for amateur and organised tourism groups in a more complete, detailed and safe manner.
