The authors proposed to allocate areas of undisturbed natural landscapes – centres for the concentration of biological diversity as natural sources of biomaterial based on geoecological assessment and developed algorithm of GIS analysis, which will create favorable conditions for restoration of vegetation on dumps. The assessment is based on the identification of ecological vulnerability of landscapes to anthropogenic impact, as well as identification of the level of biological diversity.
