Abstract

The indicators for 1995-2016 on water use in various sectors of the economy in the Ishim and Tobol river basins have been analyzed. The considered area belongs to the regions with very low water availability. The reduction of water consumption in the Ishim and Tobol river basins as a result of the transformation of the economy and social sphere has been shown.
