Abstract

The article discusses the tourist potential of the East Kazakhstan region. Based on a comprehensive study, zoning of the territory is proposed according to the degree of attractiveness of natural landscapes and zoning according to the degree of saturation with socio-economic tourist and recreational resources. The cumulative tourist and recreational potential of East Kazakhstan is revealed and conceptual directions of development of promising types of tourism in the region are proposed.
