Abstract

The article presents the results of assessing the ecological state of the urbanized environment by reactions of woody plants Betula pendula Roth. аnd Populus italica (Du Roi) Moench. The main indicative indicators were the magnitude of the fluctuating asymmetry of leaf blades, as well as the vital status of tree stands. Functional zones of Voronezh can be placed in the following row: recreational – residential – transport – industrial.
