Abstract

The aim is to outline modern techniques, forms and methods of conducting nature-based learning practice. Materials and methods. The description of the tasks and specifics of the practice is made on the basis of the author's personal experience in implementing practices of similar content for geography students. Results and discussion. The analysis of target settings, competencies, practice areas of 2nd year geography students is made. Indicators and basic skills which consist, first of all, in application of basic approaches and methods of carrying out of complex and branch geographical researches of natural-economic and social-economic systems of different level are analyzed. Three stages of practice are described: preparatory, field, cameral, districts and routes of passage. Conclusions. Nature-economic practice is the basis of effective knowledge of geography of Voronezh region, mastering of modern physical and economic-geographical methods of complex study of geosystems of landscape, industrial-economic, recreational, water, transport-road, conservation, hydraulic engineering, gardening and other nature management.
