Abstract

The purpose is to reveal the main modern all-Russian trends and peculiarities of the regional development of military-patriotic tourism on the example of Bryansk region. Materials and methods. The information base of the recreational-geographical analysis was made up of different types of sources – literary, stock open access, archival, regulatory, statistical, cartographic. The main scientific approaches were systemic, territorial, behavioral, problematic. The analysis included 7 stages. Results. The essence of the military-patriotic tourism is analyzed. The modern trends of its transformation in the country are reflected. The peculiarities of its regional development in the model Bryansk region are highlighted. The chief features of natural and ecological, cultural and historical, social and economic potentials of the military and patriotic tourism on its territory are revealed. The specificity of its managerial, sectoral and territorial structure is discovered. The leading problems and trends of its development are grounded. Conclusions. Bryansk region is distinguished by expressed specificity of military and patriotic tourism against the background of all-Russian peculiarities. The applied significance of the scientific substantiation of the policy of its activation in the region is growing.
