Abstract

The article discusses exodynamic processes actively occurring in the Voronezh Don River area – gully, plane, tunnel erosions, plain mudflows, solifluction, landslides, rockfalls, chalk karst. The four key factors are identified that play a primary role in the occurrence of exodynamic: 1) tectonic-geomorphological; 2) hydrogeological; 3) geological-lithological; 4) climatic. Special attention is paid to the relationship between the factor and the exodynamic process. The cumulative effect occurs when several factors are superimposed. The active gully-landslide complexes and solifluction are formed by applying geological-lithological and hydrogeological factors. The plain mudflows are formed under the influence of geological-lithogenic and climatic factors. The article is the result of long-term of observations on four semi-stationary sites – Semiluki, Donskoye Divnogor’ye, Evdakovo, Liskinskiy terraced.
