Abstract

Тhe article is devoted to the transformation of disarmament policy at the present stage. Both the United States and Russia have developed new approaches to disarmament policy, which is reflected in nuclear deterrence and the global political process as a whole. It is becoming obvious that the institutional structure of the disarmament policy of the Cold War is outdated, moreover, China has become a new active actor in world politics, changing the balance of power. Therefore, it is necessary to develop concepts of new approaches to deter rence policy that meet modern conditions and implement them within the framework of a new institutional architecture.
