Abstract

This article discusses the attempts of the international community to form anti-corruption standards that prevent the influence of corrupt capital on electoral mechanisms. The main guarantee for this is the total transparency of private financing of election campaigns and political parties. However, the progress made by the national legislation regarding the implementation of the relevant provisions of the UN Convention against Corruption of 2003 is clearly insufficient.
