Abstract

The article analyzes organization of the work of operational units of the People’s Comissariat of Internal Affairs (NKVD) of the Ukrainian SSR on the territory of Eastern Ukraine in the post-war years in the fight against counterfeiting – one of the most dangerous types of crimes that posed a threat to both citizens and the financial system of the state. There are considered the documents regulating the work of operational employees, as well as orienting them towards making optimal operational and tactical decisions for solving crimes related to counterfeiting in the post-war period.
