Abstract

The article explores the various components of the right of every person to life, as the most important personal inalienable right. The author discusses the guarantees of the right to life, referring to international standards, domestic legislation, and the practice of constitutional proceedings. Attention is focused on the acuteness of the issue of guaranteeing the right to life in connection with the conduct of a special military operation on the territory of Ukraine.
