Abstract

The article attempted to summarize the powers of the prosecutor in the supervision of operational-search activities. It is argued that the prosecutor should not replace the leadership of the operational-search bodies, and, accordingly, in any way allow or authorize the conduct of operational-search measures. The requirements for acts of prosecutor's response when overseeing operational-search activities are systematized. Proposals are being made on the legislative consolidation of new acts of response.
