Abstract

The article is discussed some features of the legal regulation of labor relations during the period of restoration of the national economy in the USSR after the end of the Great Patriotic War. For the purposes of the study, the issues of legal regulation of labour in the period from 1945 to 1956 are analyzed. It is concluded that after the end of the Great Patriotic War in the specified period. the change in labor legislation was due to objective reasons – the need to quickly restore the national economy destroyed by the war and ensure its further rapid development. The adopted acts softened and canceled a number of legal norms that existed in wartime and were of an emergency nature, provided for guarantees and compensations for certain categories of workers (persons working in the Far North, Siberia and the Far East, workers in the coal industry), who, in one way or another, in a different form, have been preserved in modern Russian labour law.
