Тrends in the legal regulation of dual citizenship in the legislation of foreign countries

The article analyzes the main trends in the legal regulation of dual citizenship issues in the legislation of a number of foreign countries. The author conducts a comparative legal analysis of the legislation of a number of foreign countries regulating issues of citizenship, proposes a classification of countries depending on the principle of legal regulation into two categories: countries whose legislation allows dual citizenship and countries whose legislation prohibits dual citizenship.
