Problems of legal regulation of copyright for works created by a neural network

The article is devoted to the analysis of existing approaches to the possibility of copyright protection of works created by a neural network. The author considered the experience of some foreign countries in recognizing the results generated by artificial intelligence as objects of copyright; studied the license agreements of the largest AI services, including Midjourney, ChatGPT. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the existing approaches to understanding the works created by the neural network as objects of legal protection, the advantages and disadvantages of each of the approaches are identified. In conclusion, the author raised the questions of responsibility in case of violation by the neural network of other people's intellectual property rights in the process of generating content.
