Abstract

The article deals with the provisions of the scientific works of Professor I. A. Galagan, an assessment of his contribution to the development of the science of administrative law is given. The main aspects of the study by the scientist of the institutions of administrative coercion and administrative responsibility are highlighted, which had a significant impact on the development of a number of administrative and legal concepts of the Soviet and subsequent periods, in particular, the theory of administrative and tort law. The conclusion is made about the relevance and relevance of accounting, the use of the findings of the scientist in modern conditions of development of administrative legislation and administrative-legal science.
