Creditors’ demands satisfaction in the insolvency legislation of Great Britain

Abstract

The author of this article is analyzing the regulation of the bankruptcy in Great Britain and the regulation of the order of satisfaction of creditors' claims. In the article the features of priority and superpriority creditors are considered, as well as pledge creditors in case of the pledgor’s insolvency. Special attention is paid to the floating charge. The author concludes that the implementation of regulation of this type of pledge in the Russian bankruptcy legislation is questionable.
