A new legal regulation is being formed in the Russian Federation, associated with unprecedented anti-Russian sanctions. The author argues that in these conditions of modern political and legal reality, a new legal institution of Russian law is being formed – the institute of counter-sanctions (sanctions) regulation. The article analyzes the existing regulations within the framework of this institute, attempts to systematize them. Also argues for the position that this institute of law is an intersectoral institute and is located at the junction of Russian private and public law.
