Problems and prospects of using artificial intelligence in electronic document management systems

Abstract

The possibilities of artificial intelligence technologies for automation and further expansion of the functionality of electronic document management, the prospects for using artificial intelligence in an electronic document management system, the need for legal support for the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies in an electronic document management system are analyzed. It has been revealed that the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies into an electronic document management system requires modeling, careful development of algorithms, and the formation of control mechanisms over the use of artificial intelligence technologies within the electronic document management system, primarily legal ones. The use of artificial intelligence technologies should be accompanied by the introduction of appropriate changes to the organization’s local regulations governing electronic document flow.
