The state in the economy: theoretical and legal substantiation

Abstract

The place and role of the state (state mechanisms) in the modern economy are determined; the economic nature of the state is characterized; the legal justification on the state in the economy and the specifics of the presence of the state in the digital and interaction economy are proposed; the relationship between different statuses of the state in the modern economy is revealed. The analysis of existing approaches to the place of the state in economic relations is carried out. The plurality of these approaches is reflected in the concepts of social economy, constitutional economy, the economy of social solidarity, in the method of public-private partnership and others. The conclusion is made about the strengthening of state regulation of the economy in modern conditions, designed to ensure the basic rights and freedoms of citizens and organizations, the features of such regulation in the face of modern challenges and threats are highlighted.
