Trends and prospects for solving forensic problems using high technologies

Domestic criminology is going through the next stage of its progressive development, focusing on the creation of a variety of forensic technologies that correspond to the digital and cognitive settings of the vector of social development. The optimal option for scientific support of their use in criminal proceedings may be a private forensic theory of high technology, which can modernize the professional thinking of Russian criminologists and simplify the analysis of forensic reality. Based on this premise, based on the forms and directions of development of forensic knowledge, the article examines the organizational difficulties and potential opportunities for using innovative technologies in criminal proceedings. The author substantiates the need to expand the methodological basis of domestic criminology and, against this background, to develop theoretical provisions that enrich its subject with new content in accordance with logical and methodological principles and the laws of dialectics. They pay special attention to the integration of forensic knowledge with data from the natural and technical sciences. The main features of this concept are highlighted and the need for its further development within the framework of the private forensic theory of high technology is substantiated.
