Abstract

Trust is one of the least developed concepts, philosophical and scientific interest in analysis of which begins in the 90s of the twentieth century. The article offers an explanation of this phenomenon associated with formation of many concepts of contemporary society, which try to offer new justifications for its understanding. Philosophical aspects of the problematization of trust are considered in a historical perspective, which allows us to show the duality, paradoxical nature of trust as the most important phenomenon of social existence. Rational and irrational, moral and pragmatic are highlighted as modes of trust existence in the space of contemporary society.
