The article offers an explanation of this phenomenon associated with formation of many concepts of contemporary society, which try to offer new justifications for its understanding. Philosophical aspects of the problematization of trust are considered in a historical perspective, which allows us to show the duality, paradoxical nature of trust as the most important phenomenon of social existence.
