Abstract

The main scientific achievements of Professor, Doctor of Law Vladimir Nikolaevich Skobelkin are investigated. Through the prism of the history of Russia, the formation and development of the personality of an outstanding jurist, who created an original scientific school of labor law in the peaceful decades, fought on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War and liberated Europe from fascism, is traced. The main monographic publications of V. N. Skobelkin are analyzed, the main scientific achievements in the fi eld of judicial protection of labor rights of workers and employees, legal guarantees of the rights of employees, the legal status of trade unions, labor relations, labor procedural and procedural law, which significantly enriched the theoretical basis of labor law and social security law, are noted.
