The establishment of traditional Russian spiritual and moral values at the regional and local levels

The revision by some countries of their civilizational spiritual and moral values has led to the need in countries that disagree with this to develop a set of measures to protect them. The Russian Federation considers traditional values as the basis of Russian society and the state, therefore their protection is a strategic priority for further state-building and is provided by a whole system of legal regulation. The article discusses the results of a survey of constituent of the Russian Federation conducted by the State Duma Committee on Regional Policy and Local Self-Government in February of this year regarding the state of affairs regarding the implementation of Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 809 of November 9, 2022 «On approval of the Foundations of State Policy for the Preservation and Strengthening traditional Russian spiritual and moral values». The experience of regions and municipalities in implementing the Foundations of state policy for the preservation and strengthening of traditional Russian spiritual and moral values is presented. The approaches for further activities aimed at affirming traditional values at the regional and local levels are proposed.
