Phenomenon of artificial intelligence in law enforcement activity

Abstract

The article discusses options for applying artificial intelligence technologies to the Russian law enforcement system. Current operational difficulties and ways of contacting them are mentioned. Relevant statistics of crime in the sphere of information technology use are touched upon. Argumented critical remarks are given in relation to the existing approaches in legal research and standardization. The final part presents a definition of the category of artificial intelligence in law enforcement.
