Abstract

The article analyzes the conceptual apparatus of the contract for the carriage of passengers by rail. The author identified gaps and conflicts in the legal regulation of transport relations, and also outlined ways to overcome them. The work reveals the content of the concepts «passenger», «carrier», «owner of public railway transport infrastructure», «operator of railway rolling stock», as well as other terms used in transport legislation.
