Abstract

Chinese criminal law in terms of protecting relationships that ensure sexual freedom and sexual integrity of the individual has certain differences from similar criminal law norms of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The social, cultural and legal characteristics of China did not allow it to develop a balanced criminal legal mechanism for protecting people from sexual assault, regardless of their gender. It is concluded that the provisions of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation more clearly and specifically describe the situations of committing crimes against sexual integrity and sexual freedom of the individual and the grounds for criminal liability for them.
