Abstract

The article analyses the «distortions» in the modern educational literature related to the criminological characterisation of transport (motor transport) criminality, primarily concerning its attribution to reckless criminality and the characteristics of its structure. It is concluded that the tradition of considering motor transport (transport) criminality in criminology textbooks exclusively as reckless criminality, which distorts the objective reality, is an anachronism that does not reflect the changes that have occurred in the criminal law.
