On the 130-th anniversary of the birth of M. S. Strogovich: implementation of the ideas of the scientist about the adversarial nature of criminal proceedings in the criminal procedure code of the Russian Federation

Abstract

It is presents the position of the famous scientist-processualist M. S. Strogovich about the adversarial nature of criminal proceedings as its construction, where the parties to the prosecution and defence have conditions to defend their legitimate interests at all stages. The conclusion is made that this approach to the understanding of adversarial proceedings is shared by many modern theorists and has been implemented in legislation.
