Abstract

The article discusses the features of providing free legal assistance to citizens in law clinics of higher education institutions. Positive aspects of the work of legal clinics and problematic issues in the field of legislation of the Russian Federation regulating free legal assistance are noted. The report presents substantiated proposals aimed at improving legal regulation of the activities of legal clinics. The study concludes that they play a role in higher education and ensure the constitutional right of citizens to receive qualified legal assistance.
