Abstract

The article analyzes the correlation between traditional family values and reproductive rights. The focus of attention of the researchers is on finding a balance between these categories and formulating proposals to achieve it. In research authors examine the issues of legal consolidation of traditional family values and reproductive rights, as well as modern approaches to the regulation of these rights taking into account traditional family values that have an impact on reproductive rights. The authors state that there are a number of contradictions between traditional family values and reproductive rights, which lead to disproportionate restriction of the latter. This situation can be leveled by providing an opportunity to realize the right of everyone to reproductive self-determination.
