Legal conflict resolution as a scientific field: current state and development prospects

Abstract

The scientific article analyzes the current state of legal conflict studies as a scientific field. It draws attention to the fact that the issues of this scientific field have not been the subject of extensive scientific discussion for many years. However, modern society is characterized by a high density of legal interactions, which in turn leads to an increase in the number of legal conflicts and a complexity in their content. When resolving such conflicts, there is an urgent need for effective and flexible mechanisms, as well as an understanding of the psychology of conflict and the ability to identify its causes. The paper analyzes the results of a questionnaire survey conducted among individuals who identify, study, and resolve legal conflicts. The article emphasizes the urgent need to study the identification, management, and resolution of legal conflicts in the digital environment, as well as to develop ways to counter such conflicts both at the doctrinal and practical levels. The author makes a conclusion about the importance of intensifying scientific research on basic issues of legal conflictology.
