Confidentiality of the mental sphere: the evolution of legal paradigms in the post-soviet territory

This study focuses on analyzing the evolution of legal regulation of mental health privacy in post-Soviet states. The key aspect of the work is to trace the process of the formation of «psychological privacy» as a new legal category. The methodology is based on a comparative legal approach, which allowed for a comprehensive analysis of the legislative frameworks of various post-Soviet countries, which constitutes the scientific novelty of the study. The practical significance of the work lies in the developed specific proposals for improving Russian legislation, which can be used in the preparation of relevant draft laws.
