The legal force of evidence obtained through VPN services in the civil process

Restricting access to a number of different information resources on the Internet has created the need to use blocking circumvention tools (VPN services) to obtain judicial evidence that is located on blocked resources. The article analyzes the judicial practice of acceptance by commercial courts and courts of general jurisdiction of electronic evidence obtained using VPN services. The author substantiates the point of view about the evidentiary value of the materials obtained using VPN, and their admissibility in civil and commercial proceedings.
