The article notes the gaps and shortcomings of the legal procedural mechanism regulating the rules for concluding, changing, and terminating a fixed-term employment contract; it examines the trends in the development and improvement of the legal regulation of this legal institution; and it makes suggestions for improving the current labor legislation.
