Some aspects of implementation of European Union law in the legal systems of EU member-states

One of the most important aspects of the functioning of modern regional international organizations is the interaction of their legal systems with the national legal systems of member states through their implementation at the national level. The experience of the European Union as the most developed form of regional integration of states is particularly indicative and worthy of attention in this regard. The purpose of the paper is to study and to analyze the most important aspects of this process within the EU, to characterize the mechanism for the implementation of EU law in the national legal systems of member states. Methodology: during the study, both general scientific methods of cognition and private law methods (formal-legal, dogmatic-legal) were used. Results: the article substantiates the effectiveness of the applied mechanism for the implementation of EU law, its specificity in comparison with the traditional implementation of international legal norms, which eliminates some of the usual shortcomings of the process. Conclusion: the conclusions made as a result of the study can be used in relation to improving and developing the legal systems of international organizations of regional integration with the participation of the Russian Federation, in particular, the Eurasian Economic Union, as well as the process of their norms’ implementation in the legal systems of member states.
