Abstract

The article analyzes the current problems of local self-government competence in the light of the amendments made to the Constitution of the Russian Federation, makes proposals for improving the categorical apparatus, legislative regulation of the subjects of competence and powers of local self-government bodies, the mechanism of interaction between state authorities of the subjects of the Russian Federation and local self-government bodies.
