Abstract

This article examines the problem of changing mandatory requirements in the field of road safety at the present stage of the reform of control and supervision. The author has classified the basic, legally established mandatory requirements in the area under study. The characteristics of the mechanism of the "regulatory guillotine" and the features of its implementation in the field of road safety are given, the laws on the basis of which a new system of mandatory requirements should be built are considered.
