Abstract

The paper considers approaches to the contents of closest connection principle which is the universal choice of law rule in Private International Law. The author offers to distinguish closest connection principle in the narrow (territorial) sense and in the wide (supplemented with material law considerations) sense. The author criticizes subjective approach to the contents of closest connection principle.
