Constitutional and legal status of the prosecutor's office in Russia and foreign countries

Abstract

The article examines the normative foundations of the organization and activity of the prosecutor's office, considers the consolidation of its main functions in Russian and foreign legislation, shows the role and place of this institution in the system of state bodies. As a result of the comparative analysis of the constitutional and legal status of the prosecutor's office in Russia and certain foreign countries, general and special characteristics were identified, which makes it possible to use the experience of other states in order to borrow the most interesting provisions.
