Current problems of the prosecutor's ensuring the law when receiving, registration and consideration of applications and reports of crimes

Abstract

The article examines the issues of ensuring the legality of the prosecutor when receiving, registering, considering and resolving statements and reports of crimes. The legislation in the field of accounting and registration discipline, statistical data announced at the board of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation dated March 17, 2021, was analyzed. The imperfection of the procedural legislation governing the implementation of the powers of the prosecutor to supervise the implementation of laws when receiving, registering and resolving reports of crimes in the bodies of inquiry and preliminary investigation was revealed. Suggestions for improving the criminal procedure legislation in this area are outlined.
