On a Number of Directions of Refinement of the Objectives and Forms of a Public Prosecutor’s Participation in Civil Legal Proceedings

The article analyses the effectiveness of the present forms of a public prosecutor’s participation in civil legal proceedings; it presents the correlation between objectives and key elements of the procedural status of a judge and that of a public prosecutor in terms of ensuring due observance of the law; the article gives reasons for gradual elimination of the practice of a public prosecutor’s intervention for the purpose of stating their opinion due to the fact that such form is considered to be excessive.
