Abstract

The article is devoted to the historical analysis of the formation and development of the prosecutor's office in the Russian Federation, the historical aspect is considered in stages, the historical continuity of the modern Russian prosecutor's office is shown in relation to the teleological foundations of the prosecutor's office of the imperial period of the development of Russia, the place and role of the prosecutor's office in different historical periods is revealed, the establishment and functioning of the modern prosecutor's office is analyzed.
