Abstract

The current problems of the organization of counteraction to the rehabilitation of Nazism are investigated. The purpose of this article is to familiarize the legal community with the new legislation of the Union state - the Republic of Belarus, aimed at countering the rehabilitation of Nazism, generalizing the first experience of its application for the development of recommendations for the qualification of crimes and offenses in this area. Based on the results of the study, proposals were formulated for the introduction of a course of lectures "Legal protection of military historical heritage" into the educational process, the study of which will allow you to master the legal tools for protecting the memory of those who died in the Great Patriotic War and preventing various forms of rehabilitation of Nazism.
