The article is devoted to a comprehensive study of the evidence necessary to confirm the incurring of court costs. The author pays special attention not only to the regulation of this issue at the legislative level, but also to judicial practice. Separately, the author focuses on the fact that a violation of the procedure for paying court costs does not indicate a lack of payment. The author gives recommendations aimed at increasing the chances of recovering court costs in real terms.
