ANTHROPONYMS IN THE LITERARY SPACE OF V. V. ORLOV’S NOVEL «THE VIOLIST DANILOV»

The article is devoted to the analysis of anthroponyms in the literary space of V. V. Orlov’s novel “The Violist Danilov”. The purpose of the work is to identify and analyze the names of musicians and nominations of musical bands used in the novel by V. V. Orlov, as well as to determine the dominant onomastic models. The work was performed using such research methods as the contextual analysis method, the semantic-and-cognitive modeling method, and the classifi cation method. This study considers the role of proper names as an important element of the text structure, contributing to the formation of characters’ images and their inner world. Anthroponyms in the work are investigated in terms of their semantics, symbolism and historical context, which makes it possible to reveal deep connections between the characters’ names and their features, social position and attitude to the world around them. Examples of the individual originality of anthroponyms and their functions in revealing the theme and storyline of the novel are considered. The article emphasizes that the analysis of anthroponyms opens up new horizons for the interpretation of the text, deepens the understanding of the literary world of Orlov and contributes to a more complete understanding of the literary work in the context of the cultural and social environment.
